What stones or diamonds are on watches or Watch parts and the difference of them?

In watches, there are some stones or diamonds as adornments on Watch Dial, Watch Case, bezel, Watch Bracelet or crown. Generally There are 6 kinds stones for decorations. Rhinestones, CZ stones, Swarovsky, moissanite, Lab diamonds or real diamonds.

Rhinestones: Bling bling small pcs on clothes, shoes, hair ornmaents, it is very common in garniture. we use seldom for Watch Dials in some cases. it is very rare as the quality is quite low. we focus on medium-high quality.

Moissanite: This is for high end watches, esp full iced out watch in small moissanites on dial, bezel, case and bracelet.

Full Stone Setting WatchLab diamonds: it is also quite expensive if full watch in lab diamonds, around 1000-3000pcs stones for setting. the labor cost is not cheap too. most for replica of bust down watches. for example, you buy a stainless steel Rolex watch, then ask a Jewelry craftsman to set the watch in full diamonds, they would choose lab diamonds or real diamonds depend on budget. we also made some watch dial indices in diamonds too.

Real diamonds: more or less same as lab diamonds. only top brands use the real diamonds for decoration. as they are small sizes like 1.3-0.9mm, grade SI3-PK2, but if too small and low grade, the final looking of real diamonds is so so. even not shining as Zircon.

Below pls see characters for diamond and moissanite. these can be detected by Jewelery tester.
1. Growth environment: Diamond is a carbon mineral that naturally grows underground, and its yield is low. Moissanite is a combination of two minerals, carbon and silicon, which have high risks and low yields during the cultivation process.
2. Fire color: The expensiveness of diamonds comes from its unique and attractive fire color. The dispersion index (fire color) is 0.044. The charm of Moissanite diamonds is that it is higher than the color index (fire color) of diamonds as high as 0.104. The sparkle of fire presented in the environment is higher than that of diamonds and is seven-colored.
3. Hardness: Diamond is the hardest gemstone in nature, with a Mohs hardness of 10. Moissanite is second to diamond, with a Mohs hardness of 9.25.
